 Wouldn’t it be great if this actually happened? If mother nature took back the land on which trees originally flourished and flowers bloomed. Quite an interesting thought.

Ready, steady, blog

Firstly, thank you for coming here and reading my blog. This is my first entry and to be honest I’m not really sure what to write, so for now I’ll just ramble.

I’ve read a couple of blogs on wordpress and decided it would be a good idea to get one of my own. I don’t expect to write anything half as profound or wise as some of the other things I’ve read on here, but who knows, when I’ve found my feet in this world perhaps I’ll write something of value; that’s if I ever want to find my feet in this insane world, and I suppose that when I’m eventually able to say something of value I’ll have forgotten all about this blog anyway. I’ll try not to let that happen.

Since this is my first entry I suppose I should really write a little about myself. My name is Phoebe and I’m a 16 year old punk from Crawley, which is a new town halfway between London and Brighton. As handy as this town is in terms of where it’s situated geographically, I can’t wait to get out. All they do here in Crawley is knock down our skateparks and replace them with more flats, or dig up our parks and trees to build a bus route for the new multi-million pound bus service which has drained tax payers’ money and coincidentally is no better than the current bus service anyway. The only thing I’m here for at the moment is family, friends and education.
I think you may be able to see why I called my blog ‘Jaded Youth’ now… I can’t help it. Honestly, I don’t mean to moan - I’m an optimist but I’m getting sick of where I live, sick of the greed and selfishness we see every day.
…Other than moaning, I like to write, read, play guitar (not too great at that), skateboard (or that) and spend time with my friends, whether at house parties, the park or Brighton seafront/pier/shops.

Right, here’s the point where I stop writing.
a) because this blog entry is quite long enough already and
b) because it’s 00:23 and I have to go into school to do a drama play tomorrow.
